reallybutteryants: One of my favorite Star Wars pictures. This is supposed to take place during Empire Strikes Back after 3PO gets blasted to pieces in Cloud City. Before Chewbacca finds him, Vader sees the droid and remembers his childhood. I wish we could have seen more of this side of Vader in the movies, though obviously at the time Empire was made nobody knew that Darth Vader was the one who actually built C-3PO, and Vader having flashbacks would have completely ruined the shock of us finding out that he is Luke’s father. Yes, I am a huge nerd.
